The Group for Structural Studies of Ribosomal Proteins (The X-ray Group) was established at the Institute in 21st of April 1991. 

The current research is focused on structure investigations of ribosomal proteins and their complexes with RNA by X-ray structure analysis. We are working in close collaboration with the Group of Structural Studies of the Transnational Apparatus of the Institute and several research institutes from Sweden, France, Germany, Austria and Japan. 

For the years of our history we have determined a number of crystal structures of the proteins and RNA-protein complexes. The details on the structures you can found on a special page.
